Here we shall talk about the upcoming SMC series!! No news! Just our thoughts on what is going to come and later we can turn this into episode discussion thread. So right this is a speculation thread! 

For those who don't know Sailor Moon Crystal is the name for the new anime!

i hear a lot of people saying that it may only cover the first ark…. I dunno how i feel about that and honestly till we get something from the creators i don't see the point in worrying about what we might and might not get.

I just hope it does it's own thing and not be 100% manga. It won't work. :/

Well they said they are going to follow the manga. Who knows what that means. It will either be 100% or act like PGSM and mix things up a bit.

I still want to see more on the generals

I would kind of like to see some aspects of the manga in the anime and would also like to see more of the generals ( i wish we could get a glimpse of their life with endymion before beryl got them) I am just going to be excited to get anything. I mean I have been waiting with many others for the new anime. I don't wanna have too high expectations and just look forward to what is being worked on for all us moonies.

That would be great if they showed the generals before they worked for Beryl. Personally I would love to see why they went to work for her.

I'd like it if we got to see a little more of the supporting civilian characters, the way both the anime and PGSM fleshed them out. In the manga, a lot of them were flat and unmemorable.

I agree with your Argent 100%. The generals better be fleshed out! For the record if my hopes for the new manga don't happen I won't be crushed.

Some people are speculating that because of the T in Crystal looking like a sword, that there might be a chance of Venus' sword appearing, and if that's the case then Serenity's suicide will also appear. 

Personally, I found the suicide to be an interesting twist. It gave the manga that Shakespeare tragedy effect and I liked that. Plus it added to the story some because it's a good example of how much Usagi grows as a person, even in the beginning when she decides to stand and fight instead of give in and die. (I mean in the manga yeah she tried but when she realized she was still alive she grew up and fought so neh). 

I'm kinda looking foward to how they handle that xD

The reason I bring this up is that the show will use current technology? So I guess this means the characters will be dressing current clothes as well. I don't know what the fashion is like in Japan. I hope people dress more decent in Japan vs in the US. LOL

I am so excited. I don't care if they make it super short but... Oh my gosh! it's happening!

Minako's states that she is the leader of the senshi! Awesome her role will be acknowledge! I just hope they mix her out going side and her serious nicely. I don't like super serious Minako.

I'm glad we have the original Usagi/Moon VA. I hope with the next announcement we find out if the original Mamoru/Tuxedo VA returns as well.

I'm not familiar with Mercury's new VA, but I am with Mars's new VA, Jupiter's new VA, and Venus's new VA.

I would also like  to see Mamoru's, Chibi Moon's, Sailor Pluto, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune's designs...
 
But this is good for me. They look great, it was better than i expected.

I wonder if they will do the whole series and how long each arc will be?

i agree with mamoru, we prob won't see outers for awhile, but I am curious as to how Luna and Artemis will be drawn.

Oh yeah the cats. I wonder how they will draw them and Diana too.I want to see the princess dress of Sailor Moon.

I want to see Diamond die horribly. I want to see the attacks. I also want to know how Mamoru looks like.

I wonder if they will have a trailer? I really hope so! I also wonder if they will do transformations! I really hope so! I love watching magical girl transformations!

now it is confirmed that they have a trailer. As for transformations, i have no idea.
 I hope that usagi's Moon tiara attack is as awesome the first time I saw it in the manga.
