Physical Description:

Hotaru has very pale skin. She has black hair with a purplish tint that falls just above her shoulders. Her eyes are violet. She is around 5’2 in height and around 3’9 as a child.  She wears mostly all black, namely a black turtleneck dress, dark tights and shoes and a black dress with a collar and flower. Hotaru has a green jacket that she wears on occasion. She also has a blue dress with red buttons and a red beret and a purple shirt underneath. Her school uniform is for Mugen Academy, which consists of a green plaid skirt, red shirt with a blue-stripped bow in front. After she was reborn, Hotaru wore more colorful clothes, for example pink dresses, pink shirts and red skirts. She is weak and is prone to seizures.

Hotaru's skin is not as pale. She no longer has seizures and is much healthier looking. Her hair is still short and falls to her shoulders. Her features are no longer child like and are more of a teenager. She did not grown any taller than 5'2". Hotaru still prefers to wear clothes that are purple and black, though she no longer wears long sleeves in the summer. She is not a big fan of jeans and still prefers to wear dresses and if she does wear pants, she likes leggings or dress pants.

Mistress 9:

As Mistress 9 she is tall with long black hair that goes past her feet. She has a black star on her forehead. She wears a purple sleevless shirt with a long dark skirt. There are two beaded chains that go across the front of her shirt, around her arms and to the back. She also has long earrings that consists of three round jewels. She has a manical expression on her face. When she is Hotaru's form. She wears a dress with a black torso and a pink ruffled skirt. She has a pink ruffles around a dark stripped collar and a black star in the center. Her eyes are vacant and she speaks with a distored voice. Her body has a red glow to it as well. She does not like Hotaru's body and finds it too confining and does not like the hair. In the manga her true form is a monster with a ghoulish head and an indescript body.
Personality:

Hotaru is very intelligent, socially awkward and lonely. She is isolated from the rest of her classmates due to her mood swings and their fear of her healing powers. Despite all of this Hotaru is a very sweet and friendly girl. She hopes to be a nurse one day. Hotaru is shy but once she gets to to know you and considers you a friend she is very loyal. She is truly taken aback when Chibiusa told her that they were friends and invited her places. Not being used to that, Hotaru would do whatever she could to protect that friendship and return the same loyalty that Chibiusa had shown her. For example, she would ignore her own health issues and chased after Chibiusa after Kaolinite sent her away and she has ended up in this hospital as well.

Hotaru has a calm demeanor and likes to read. She is softspoken but is determined to never be taken advantage of again. She will defend herself and others if needed. She still wants to achieve her dream to be nurse and is working to pursue that. She can be persuaded to go out on an adventure, especially if Chibiusa is involved and she still has that mischievious side to her. She is less shy and it is easier for her to make friends now but still prefers to get to know people before really opening up to them. Due to her past she still has a nagging fear that if people get close to her they will get hurt.


History:

Anime:  Hotaru was killed in a lab accident and her mother Keiko is deceased. Desperate to save her life, Hotaru’s father Souichi, made a deal with Germatoid and as a result Hotaru was possessed by Mistress 9.  Hotaru is prone to seizures and mood swings and because of this she tends to lash out and harm others without any memory of the incident.  Hotaru is isolated from the rest of the students at Mugen Academy and does not have any friends because they are afraid of her.  She finds a friend in Chibiusa who is not afraid of her.  The Inner Senshi are more open to her but the Outer senshi are suspicious. When it is discovered that she is Sailor Saturn, they try to destroy her, only to be prevented by Sailor Moon. The Inner Senshi try to protect Hotaru from the Outer Senshi and the Death Busters, but Hotaru is taken away by Kaolinite.  The Messiah of Silence, acting through Hotaru takes Chibiusa’s crystal heart and Mistress 9 is awakened. Hotaru is able to defeat Mistress 9 and reawakens as Sailor Saturn and she returns Chibiusa’s crystal heart.  She fights Pharaoh 90 and is reborn after the battle.  Hotaru is returned to her father.
Setsuna comes for Hotaru while she is still a baby and takes her away from her father. When the Outer Senshi are attacked by Queen Nehellenia’s mirrors, Hotaru starts to reawaken. After the battle Hotaru is a child and speaks of a threat against the Sailor Moon. Hotaru goes to live with Setsuna, Haruka and Michiru. She is aging very rapidly and is very intelligent. Hotaru reawakens completely as Sailor Saturn and warns the others about a new crisis that is coming. She continues to live with Setsuna, Haruka and Michiru and fights alongside the Outer Senshi.
 
 
Manga: Hotaru survives the lab accident which kills her mother but Hotaru is severely injured.  Her father gives her cybernetic parts in order to keep her alive but she still has scars from accident. He also implants her with a daimon egg that contains Mistress 9. As with the anime she does not have friends and she is considered an outcast. She meets Chibiusa and they are both attacked by a Daimon.  Hotaru learns the identities of Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon and she healed an injury that Sailor Chibi Moon had. Hotaru becomes friends with Chibiusa.  While possessed by Mistress 9 , Hotaru was aware of what was happening and was able to protect Chibusa and the silver crystal from Mistress 9. Hotaru also rescued the Inner Senshi when Mistress 9 tried to take their spirits. Hotaru returned the Chibusa’s silver crystal and faded away when Mistress 9 escaped. After she was reborn, Hotaru was raised by the Outer Senshi with no memory of her past. Hotaru still had accelerated growth and is very intelligent. She was forced to reawaken as Sailor Saturn to help defeat Queen Nehellenia. Hotaru continued to live with the rest of the Outer Senshi after the battle with Nehellenia. Luna and Artemis cared for her when the Outer Senshi returned to their castles. Hotaru left Earth to in order to assist the Outer Senshi but was killed in attempt to save Sailor Pluto from Galaxia. She is rescued by Sailor Moon

Senshi Fuku: Saturn’s skirt, boots, part of her gloves, choker are purple. The rest of her gloves are white, her tiara, earrings (shaped like the planet Saturn with diamonds hanging from them), are white as well. Her bows on the front and the back are maroon. The shoulders were meant the resemble flower petals. On her front bow, is crystal heart.
 
Super Sailor Saturn, everything stayed the same except for a gold star on her choker, her collar gained a white stripe, and a purple heart replaced the crystal heart. Her shoulder pads no longer looked like flower petals. They were the same as the rest as the Senshi as were her gloves. Her shoulder pads also had translucent parts as well.
 
Eternal Sailor Saturn: The gloves are longer. Her skirt is layered, purple on the top and lavender on the bottom. Her knee high boots are now white with a purple border and a gold stars on the top of them. There is a lavender star on her front bow and her choker is V-shaped. Her shoulder pads are lavender and puffy, with purple of the bottom of them. Her belt was consisted of purple and lavender ribbons and black ribbons held together with a gold star. Her back bow is lavender and her earrings are purple stars.

Powers:

Silence Glaive Surprise: The attack uses the Silence Glaive.  In the anime, this attack was used against Queen Nehellenia. It was not completed due to Sailor Chibi Moon’s interference. A lot of damage was caused by the partial attack but the full extent is not known. In the Manga, this attack was used against the Amazoness Quartet where a fog was created to stop one of their attacks.
Silence Wall: While using the Silence Glaive, a barrier is created as protection from attacks.
 
Manga Only:
Death Reborn Revolution:  This attack uses the Silence Glaive. Saturn is surrounded by ribbons. This attack was used again Pharaoh 90, where the ribbons cut into him and drained him of his power.

Galatica Glaive Surprise – Manga only and was used when Saturn was controlled by Galactica
 
It was Sailor Saturn who destroyed the remnants of the Moon Kingdom.
 
She is able to heal injuries in her civilian form. She is also able to paralyze daimons as well.

Mistress 9:

Mistress 9 is able to possess people and take on their forms. She is also capable of using lightning as a weapon, for example she killed Kaolinte with ligthning. She also uses her hair as a weapon. She used it to trap and choke Sailor Uranus and Neptune. Mistress 9 is able to open up portals as well. She used one to capture Sailor Moon.

            Hotaru stepped on to the sidewalk and raised her dark purple umbrella over her head. This was the last stop and she still had several blocks to go. She took one last look at the bus and started to walk in the opposite direction. She had come too far to turn back now. Such a familiar path but yet felt so strange. Hotaru could not remember the last time she had down these streets. Years? It felt as though it was a lifetime ago, but then again it was.
            The rain finally stopped when Hotaru reached her destination. She stared for a few moments not sure that she wanted to cross that street.
            “No…it’s been long enough.” She said too herself.
             Taking a deep breath Hotaru continued on. The crater had been long since filled in and a park placed over it. Festivals are held here but she had never been to any of them. Hotaru walked to the center of the park where there was a simple marble base with a peace lily. On the base was a plaque that read: Mugen Academy: In Memoriam. 

I need more on her personality. since you're also going to use this for New Era, I need to know if anything has changed over the years with her. Like her appearance and apparent age, but not actual age, how old does she look in era? in general anything that's not canon for the Era rp. Also I'll need to have in writing what the Messiah of Silence's outfits look like, any powers the Messiah has, ect, since you included that in the bio, or you can take it out, either is fine.
