Thank you to both of you. The reason I've been able to collect so much is probably because I'm the oldest one here. So in a way, I've had more years to build up my collections. Therefore, don't feel bad about not having as much as me. However, if when you get to be my age, your collection still isn't as big as mine is now, then
that would be the time to feel un-worthy
.
Sailor Jupiter, I don't just have
an art book in that picture; I have
four of them. The top two in that pile are Sailor Moon art books; the bottom two are from other anime titles. And if I'm lucky to have the two Sailor Moon ones, then I must attribute my luck to being old enough to have a little spare money years ago when Sailor Moon art books were easier to get. In fact, I'm pretty sure I could've had
more than two if I had had even more spare money and had known where to visit to buy them. Also, I don't really consider myself lucky to have the two from other anime titles, because I bought those directly from the Amazon web store recently enough that I would think they would still be available now (though I have not checked to confirm this).
Finally, I must admit that one of those DVD boxes is a bootleg - the one of SM's Sailor Stars season. But I bought that back when the chances of an authentic, licensed version of it being made were slim to none. If I had known back then that an authentic, licensed version of it
would become available (eventually), then that DVD box would probably not be there. Because it is my opinion that if it is worth buying at all, then it is worth buying the authentic, licensed version (if at all possible).
