Has anyone seen this 90s movie?

It's about a cat who wants to make it big in Hollywood, but American's sweetheart (a child star) tries to stop him. It takes place in a world where human and talking animals live together. 

Growing up I saw the trailers, but never saw the movie. It was on Cartoon Network once, but I didn't get a chance to watch it once again. Last night it popped into my head and I found it on youtube. I liked it. The movie was cute and I thought the characters were written well. The songs were okay. Just typical Randy Newman songs.

I enjoyed this movie as a kid. It was among my faves and i wore out my VHS of it. I really hope to find it on DVD one day.
