[ General Information ]
Name:Michiru KaiohAge: 16{Super}, 18{Stars}, anywhere from 22-24{once Neo Queen Serenity ascends to the throne, in which, therefore, she stops aging}Gender:FemaleBirthday: March 6thAppearanceMichiru stands delicately at average height, and a below-average weight. Her perfected complexion is fair and her eyes are a calm, cerulean blue. Fingernails are often manicured and painted to match the artsy, free-flowing outfits consisting mostly of eloquent gowns and fashionable scarves that she sports so effortlessly, usually followed by a shoe with some sort of heel. Her most prominent feature, however, is her shoulder-length, sea-green hair that is likened to seaweed in shape and cascades in waves as if the mystical strands were a part of the ocean themselves.
When attending court and formal functions, she will wear her silk, turquoise/sea-green gown to show her royal status as a princess and as a part of the Queen's loyal court. It is long and slim, brushing the floor gracefully if she were to walk.
PersonalityMichiru is the personification of feminity and grace. She is calm, collected, and mature individual who is very lady-like and seems as if she is perfect in nearly everything she does. Her often reserved, mysterious composture causes others to misinterpret her at times or become curious what lies beneath her crafted, polite, cogenial mask of emotion. She is also insintively blessed with wisdom and a motherly nature, traits that likely derive from the sea, and lends her assistance when they are needed. One, in desperate and strategical situations, and two, in raising and helping taking care of Hotaru.
However, this is not to say that Michiru is solely made up of goodness. There are times where she is capable of shifting from a soothing tide rolling onto the shore to a raging tsunami that is crashing with all of its might. Granted, she is not afraid to act harsh to or scold someone if she feels the need to -- even if it is someone she cares about -- or has simply reached her limit of tranquility. She is even capable of seeming arrogant at times, though this is a darker side of her that she mainly keeps to herself, along with her hidden insecurities and doubt.
A characteristic that trumps all others, though, would have to be her determination and loyalty. Once she has her mind set and focused on a goal, she will do anything and everything neccesary to achieve and succeed in it -- sometimes, even if it means sacrificing herself or betraying those she wants to protect. Her loyalty and love dedicated to Haruka knows no bounds, and although she may subtly tease the Sky Senshi about their relationship, it has been tested time and time again, only to have Neptune save Uranus' life on more than one occasion... even when her own or others' lives are at risk.
In her free time, when she is not protecting her Queen, doing anything and everything with Haruka, or nuturing Hotaru, Michiru can often be seen playing her precious violin, whether it be at a concert or in desire, swimming in the popular pool, or painting a serene/aquamarine scene.
HistoryMichiru Kaioh has been used to a wealthy lifestyle her entire life. With her mother being a famous sketch artist and her father a famous instrumental pianoist, Michiru had always been destined for greatness. Even at such an early age such as 7, she presented her mother's artistry with painting and, later, at the age of 11, picked up a violin and began practicing what would soon become a great passion. She endulged cosmetics early, only collecting cosmetics after recieving the beloved accesories a number of times during Christmas and Birthdays, and became very aware of the art of fashion by the time she was 13. She became accustomed to both social and formal gatherings, and taught appropriate etiquette and manners, home-schooled, then enrolled into a private school before entering Mugen Academy.
Michiru, however, despite her "perfect" life, had always been more sensibly aware of things, always had the odd luck of life fortunes and directional accuracy. This "sixth sense" somehow had always lead her down a better path than her peers, and she came to trust it. Of course, she never told anyone... until she met Haruka Tenoh, of course, but that encounter comes later in this story than what is being written and read now.
The kind, wealthy daughter of the famous pianoist and artist was sent to a junior high school, where she excelled in Art and Music Classes, swimming only as a hobby when she returned home from school. She met and befriended Elza Gray, trusting her and supporting her in her love of running. It was during this time that she began to have prophetic dreams of her future senshi duty, of her inevitable fate as Sailor Neptune. She is confronted with her fate a couple of times after witnessing a youma attack and kill innocent civilians, and runs away in hesitation and refusal to give into her destiny, even though she knows that it must be. However, after a youma{perhaps a Daimon?} attacks her school and her class, targeting Elza Gray, Michiru finally accepts her destiny as Sailor Neptune and defeats the youma, saving her class and her friend. After accepting this fate, she knows she can not return to it, and as such, complies with what she had become. More prophetic dreams awaken to her the goal of the Death Busters and the mission of the Talismans. With her sixth sense leading the way, she begins the search her Outer Senshi allies, specifically the partner that is destined to assist her in finding the pure heart crystals that withhold the special treasures that are the key to world domination.
Eventually, Elza suceeded in bringing Michiru to meet with the ever-so-legendary Haruka Tenoh, the girl who outran the wind. Instantly, there was an attraction there, and a sense of duty, too. Somehow, Michiru instinctively knew that Haruka was the one destined to be her partner, and told her that she needed to embrace her destiny as a senshi. And, even though Haruka at first ran from and turned down her duties, upon more encounters with her, one at a concert and then another at a mechanic, Michiru was eventually able to convince/persuade Haruka to become the destined Sailor Uranus, but not after giving her the choice to, of course. Haruka, after seeing Sailor Neptune in distress and realising that she couldn't run any longer from fate, naturally decided to become Sailor Uranus, and so their adventures and exploration with one another began.
Some time passed before the two came to know each other, quite well. Like the back of one's hand and the front of the other, actually. They fought together, ate together, teased together... and soon became romantically attracted to one another. This relationship prospered, allowing the both of them to be comfortable with one another, in and out, and seemed to have what would be described an "open" and "adult" atmosphere by others. Still, even as lovers, they remained committed to their mission.
Even after all of the crystal treasures were found -- their holders discovered to be themselves and Sailor Pluto -- they continued to stick to their mission of duty and independent matriarchy of the solar system. They remained committed to their Messiah, to their princess, Sailor Moon/Usagi Tsukino, and later even helped raise a reborn baby Hotaru when Galaxia threatened to take over the universe. And, although, they ended up betraying Sailor Moon and the Starlights, they were revealed only to have done so in order to gain Galaxia's trust and end her once and for all, for their princess's sake. For the galaxy's. Then they faded away like stardust, having been killed by the golden queen, proclaiming love for one another... only to relievingly be revived by their Messiah in the end.
Special AbilitiesPrecognition is merely an ability of hers, which she has in and out of her senshi forms -- it seems as if she cannot control it or simply "turn it off". She is capable of sensing auras and presences, and is often very inutitive upon knowing what is and what is to come. Sometimes these abilities manifest themselves in not only feelings, but also in dreams and, in her Aqua Mirror as well, where she is able to demolish illusions.

RP Sample: Green heels tap, tap, tapped upon the side-walk, beige slacks and a matching blazer fluid with her body movements. A green scarf, tied to perfection, modeled as a choker upon her neck, and the shirt, although slightly lower than most, under the blazer was no other than the same colour. Her hair, as always, fell in seaweed waves, framing her face and her focused gaze.
She slowed when she approached the revolvling glass door in the street strip, pushing it gently in order to get to the other side. Her steps were ones that were of business, ones that were on a mission, as they echoed from the polished floor and bounced off of the paintings upon the walls.
It wasn't long until she reached it, and sat down in the seat before the item. An easal full of vibrance and beauty and reform. A blank slate, with a color wheel of paint neatly seperated by their respective combinations... now resting upon her finger-tips. The thin plastic of the brush hand was smooth and chilled in her fingertips, and as she delicately eased it upon the canvas...
But, the paradise wasn't meant to be. She felt it before she heard it, as her sapphire gaze shifted slightly to the side. Something is here.
Michiru immediately put the paint brush down and set the colour wheel aside, standing and preparing herself for what she knew was to come.
A scream could be heard a moment later from somewhere within the Museum -- which she had bought, by the way, via being wealther than she was accustomed to. It was a scream of horror, a scream that only existed in horror movies and nightmares.
She brust into a run, a sprint, pulling out her Crystal Wand.
The art of painting could wait. Her duty as a senshi was more important. No.. being a senshi was her sole purpose -- it was her duty. And, her duty, her family, and her mission dedicated to her princess, was more important than anything else she could imagine.
