Today is Mother's Day! So I thought it would be fun if we talked about the mothers of Sailor Moon. This includes every mom in the book. Not just Sailor Moon's moms. This is what happens when you name your story after the main character. ^^*

The mothers:
Queen Serenity
Ikuto
Usagi herself
Luna
Naru's mom
Ami's mom
Minako's mom (shown in the Sailor V manga)


I think that's everyone. I could have missed some. I skipped the moms who were only mentioned like Mako's and Rei's.


I think out of all the moms Ikuto is my favorite. She loves her children so much and tries her to best to ensure their happy. I liked how she was okay with Usagi with having a boyfriend at a young age. She trusted her daughter. That says a lot about mother.

they are awesome but underrated in my opinion.

I like Queen Serenity because of the sacrifice she made to save everyone and I love Ikuto as well.

Ikuto? er... I think her name is Ikuko
 yeah, I like Queen Serenity as well and in the manga, she was shown to be a protective and wise mother.

The nice mom during the Black Moon Clan arc with her little girl! the one Chibiusa surprised with her "abra cadabra poof" trick. hot chocolate sounds like an awesome way to warm up during a rainy day.^^

Also! Makoto, Rei, Minako and Ami are all mothers themselves in Parallel Sailor Moon.^^ though their daughters look a tad too much like their mums...

We're missing three: Haruka, Setsuna, and Michiru.

Anyways I really love Queen Serenity and Ikuko because of their love for their daughter (granted in different parts in time). Something I always liked was that Usagi loved both of her mothers equally once she learned about her past life.
